My journey began in Baltimore City, where I was born and raised, attending Baltimore City Public Schools. This community is close to my heart, and I often find myself back in my old neighborhoods, connecting with the kids and seeing the potential that exists. It's a reminder of why I do what I do – to make a positive impact.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Baltimore and recently completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in Fall 2023. My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Play Therapy, with a strong emphasis on multicultural sensitivity. I'm particularly interested in supporting individuals and families facing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, adjustment, and mood disorders.
Beyond my clinical work, you'll find me coaching youth sports, exploring new cultures through travel, cherishing time with my family, and discovering the best local eats. I believe in the importance of balance and finding joy in everyday moments. I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, and I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel heard and understood. Let's work together to build a brighter future."
