Jacqueline "Denise" Owens, M.A., LGPC


As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, Denise uses an understanding, unconditional, nonjudgmental and empathetic approach in the counseling relationship, while integrating various therapeutic approaches.  She provides professional counsel in areas to include healing within family relationships; self-discovery and empowerment; defining/establishing healthy boundaries; identifying coping skills for addiction triggers; reducing anxious, stressful and depressive related symptoms and mindsets. 

In terms of credentials, her Undergraduate degree is in Behavioral and Social Sciences, with a minor in Business Administration. Denise also holds an M.A. in Professional Clinical Mental Health and serves as:

  • Founder, CHOICES for Success, Inc.
  • Board Member, The Relationship Builders
  • Facilitator, PREPARE/Enrich Couple Assessment & Evaluation
  • Speaker and Group Facilitator

Overall, her hope is that her clients would come to a better understanding of their greatest challenges and facilitate change. For you, this means that you do not have to be alone in your journey.  Allow her to counsel and support you through your journey.  Denise is also a wife, mother, daughter and grandmother.  She has a host of hobbies, which includes renewing her skills playing the piano.
